Cheap Indian Tablet Launched:
India’s much awaited cheap tablet has been launched. The tablet which was initially priced as $35 will be available for $60 (Indian Rs. 2999) and will be called Aakash. It has been reported that the device’s real name is Ubislate which is manufactured by Canadian company, Datawind.
The ultra cheap tablet features a 7-inch 800 x 480 pixels resistive touch screen and runs Android Froyo. The device is powered by a 366 MHz Connexant processor with 256 MB of RAM and boasts 2GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. Aakash features both WiFi and GPRS connectivity and has a 3 hours battery life.
